Singularity

This weeks reading by Marc Stiegler is great. I am amazed how technology will someday take over our lives. Intellectually, i can see how easy it would be to swallow a pill and to be free of pain or to regain your memory or to have use of a feeble body or a body that has not been damaged. But, emotionally i would not want to live forever, everything has a season. I felt a little sad at the end, her original body was gone and all that was left was a manufactured being. This was my favorite quote in the reading, "The new meaning of death was complimented by a new meaning of life"
